Senior Design Manager, FinTech Business Unit, Booking.com

I have been with Booking for nearly 8 years (at the time of writing), and have gone from the manager of a single team to the UX craft leader of an entire business unit. As part of my role, I lead a stellar team of very talented UX craft managers, designers, writers, and researchers. Enabling Booking to fulfil it's mission to "Make it easier for everyone to experience the world".

I lead my team to design seamless, secure, and intuitive financial experiences for millions of travellers and partners worldwide. We work together to simplify complex financial processes—whether it’s online payments, managing forex, reconciling your business or complying with local regulations . I also champion data-driven design and a deep understanding of user needs, to ensure that our fintech products inspire trust, drive adoption, and remove friction at every touchpoint. Alongside product delivery regular mentorship and fostering an environment around inclusion, and continuous learning are core to my role.

In my current role, I work alongside 2 Product Directors overseeing 4 key areas; Traveller payment experience, Partner payment experience, Regulatory Technology and Financial Systems.

Before being promoted to my current role I was the Design Manager for Partner payments experience and Regulatory Technology. And before moving to the FinTech business unit, I was Design manager for an area in the Performance Marketing department called Marketing Landing Experience. And Before that I was in the search team as part of our Accommodations business unit.
